Monopoly Bad Character, first of all, kudos. Kudos upon your recent graduation from Makerere University and a succesful career launch in West Nile Entertainment! You have displayed a possibility of taking West Nile music to destinations far and wide.
Since 2018, Agadribo Emmanuel aka Bad Character Monopoly has kept fans wanting for more of his Ongo or Music which is characterised by a unique manipulation of the Lugbarati language in to rap that has given fans the best vibes from Monopoly Music.
Did he find the key to his West Nile Music breakthrough in the combination of the words TAP TAP?
I found myself asking this same question several times. Well, if you thought so too, you are not alone, we are truefriendz now. Come follow me now!
He gave us a rhythm to dance to and that got him finding a way to our hearts. His first leg itching song Ongo was easily accepted by fans. This was one of his first songs that saw him team up with Joshman Perfection of Malcom Records Uganda when the studio was still named Soldier Records UG before undergoing a face lift and upgrade.
The artist who hails from Ragga Python‘s homeland Maracha is a proof of what Python had said years back in one of his songs that;
“Am from Maracha where there are no amateurs…”
Well, wherever Ragga Python is, he must be proud of Monopoly Bad Character and I believe once he returns to active music, him and Monopoly will join hands with others to lift the West Nile Music flag up and high.
Monopoly started becoming more relevant after dropping his 2018 wrap-up song that summed 2018 events.
Having opened the ears of fans to expect more from him, Monopoly gave another hot punch on faces of music fans when he teamed up with West Nile Music hit Producer Joshman Perfection of the Arua City based Malcom Records UG to drop one of his first major hit singles Slay Queen. This song was another huge factor in his music career. Addressing Slay Queens on this particular song, magic was performed with the TAP TAP word combination and soon Monopoly was monopolising playlists. He went on and sung to express his love for slay queens and to define what the Bad Character in Monopoly Music is here to give us;
“Tap tap tap tap, she’s a slay queen…
Ale mi ra, te ani ra mi slay queen…”
Apart from Ragga Python, Yo Boy Ken among others, Monopoly joins the Ugandan pop Queen Jackie Chandiru among the artists who hail from Maracha district. Ever since he worked the magic around using Lugbarati so well to tame us to his music, West Nile and Northern Uganda had to respond in affirmation.
Tap Tap by Monopoly Bad Character featuring Black Harmony is yet another big song or call it a major one by Monopoly that received a huge reception from music fans while being centered around the TAP TAP word play itself.
It took the title TAP TAP and was produced by his producer Joshman Perfection from Malcom Records Uganda in Arua City.
The song featured the legendary Black Harmony brothers and is among the most requested for songs on air waves this year as fans fell in love with singing its chorus along;
“Ane lu mi tap tap, ma asi mbu lu ‘yaru…”

Feel free to share your confessions in the comment box on this post after listening to Tap Tap because whoever has listened to the song fell in love with it at once.
He started making rounds after dropping his 2018 wrap up song and would do the same in the next year with the 2019 edition of the wrap up.
Monopoly is earmarked as one of the West Nile Musicians whose hardwork has been consistent hence earning our respect, ears and should be among fans favourite West Nile artists today.
His other songs include Itru Ma Te, Damage, Apama Bo, Bedroom remix a feature on Harmonize‘s Bedroom remix rhythm, Jirani among others.
